Willmott Dixon are currently recruiting for a Trainee Estimator to join our Construction South team based in Weybridge or Farnborough and deliver construction projects across multiple sectors within the South.
As a Trainee Estimator you will be directly involved in the pre-construction phase of our projects. Your career is all about working with Willmott Dixon colleagues to deliver the right net cost, on time, to the highest quality and accuracy. You’ll manage all commercial activities with a high degree of acumen and identify opportunities to add value throughout the project process
Our programme will give you a great foundation; you will get exposure to all areas of our business through placements in different disciplines such as Site Management and Quantity Surveying to develop your understanding of the construction business as a whole and not just your chosen discipline.
We welcome applications from school and college leavers with A Levels, T levels and equivalent qualifications, Skilled Tradespeople and Graduates who are passionate about building a career in construction.
Our management trainee programme is 2 to 5 years in duration (depending upon your entry point) and will give you the chance to earn while you learn and give you valuable work experience alongside part-time study for a level 6 qualification that is paid for by Willmott Dixon. Upon graduation from the programme you will progress into an Assistant Estimator role.

Our management trainee roles start in September 2025 and the application closing date is the 5th of January 2025. Shortlisting will take place after the closing date and the assessment centre is set to take place early 2025. As part of the application process, you will be asked to answer some of our questions via video recording.
