Assistant Quantity Surveyor
Join Willmott Dixon as an Assistant Project Surveyor (Assistant Quantity Surveyor), initially supporting the commercial delivery of an exciting £15m project in Bath.
As the successful candidate, you’ll provide commercial and financial support to senior surveyors, ensuring projects are procured and delivered on budget, to the highest quality, and with exceptional customer satisfaction.
You’ll work closely with colleagues, consultants, and the supply chain to maintain accurate financial positions, manage contracts, and help deliver commercially successful projects that strengthen our relationships and reputation across the Bristol and surrounding region.
This role offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your surveying career within one of the UK’s most forward-thinking contractors, with genuine scope to develop into a Project or Senior Surveyor role as your experience grows.
Key Responsibilities/Deliverables:
- Assist in valuing, certifying, and issuing payment notices for subcontract works in line with subcontract conditions.
- Ensure external valuations are submitted accurately and payments are received on time.
- Prepare and update Cost Value Comparison (CVC) reports to reflect the current on-site position and projected final profit.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with our supply chain, consultants, and clients to promote collaboration and resolve potential disputes early.
- Support senior commercial staff in achieving or exceeding budgeted financial targets.
- Work closely with project teams to ensure effective cost control, procurement, and contract administration throughout the project lifecycle.
