The Role

Willmott Dixon has an exciting new opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice to join our Learning and development team. This is a great opportunity to work in our People team whilst being supported to study a relevant apprenticeship qualification. This is a full time role and you will be expected to work in our head office based in Letchworth a minimum of 4 days per week with some occasional travel required to other offices including London and Hitchin. You will be supported to work from home or attend college to support your apprenticeship qualification on the other day.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing training materials and resources.

• Support data entry and maintenance of training records.

• Help coordinate delegate bookings, venues and facilitator arrangements.

• Support collection of training data for funding claims.

• Assist with learner feedback collection and reporting.

• Provide general administrative support to the Learning team.

• Regular communication and collaboration with internal colleagues and external training providers.

• Track training activity to support audits and compliance.

Essential and Desirable Criteria

Essential Skills & Qualities:

• Strong Excel skills (basic formulas, data entry, formatting) - a short Excel test will form part of the interview process.

• Good attention to detail and willingness to learn.

• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.

• Clear written and verbal communication skills.

• Organised and able to manage multiple tasks.

• Friendly, proactive and team‑oriented.

• Strong general education at A level or equivalent qualification ( level 3) and must have GCSE English and Maths at Grade 5 or above.
