Weybridge Health Facility

Our Health Sector experts have been chosen by NHS Property Services (NHSPS) Limited to deliver the new Weybridge Health Facility on the former Weybridge Hospital site which sadly burnt down in 2017. This comes as repeat work for NHSPS, having completed Chiswick Health Centre earlier this year.

The new two-storey building will be home to The Phoenix Family Practice and a wide range of services tailored to local needs, including:

• Maternity care

• Same-day urgent care

• Diagnostic services

• Flexible clinical and community space to support evolving service delivery

Spanning two floors, this new facility will be home to The Phoenix Family Practice, maternity care, same day urgent care, diagnostic services and some flexible space which can be used for clinical and community services. Collaborating with architects Murphy Phillips, this project has been thoughtfully designed to include flexible space to adapt to future health needs.

This supports the ambitions of the NHS 10 Year Health Plan, bringing care closer to home and enabling more sustainable, neighbourhood-based services for Weybridge and its surrounding areas.

Procured via the ProCure23 national framework, this project spans a two-phase development approach:

• Spring 2027 – The new GP surgery opens to the residents of Weybridge

• Autumn 2027 – Full site handover with the completion of the new car park and demolition of the existing surgery.

This development targets BREEAM Excellent accreditation and will incorporate a comprehensive landscape scheme, bringing enhanced biodiversity to the local area alongside different areas designed for staff, patients and their families.

With one of three Willmott Dixon Construction South offices located in Weybridge and many of our people living in the local area, we approach this project with even more pride, with some of our people directly benefiting from this facility.
