Unlocking the potential of car parks
One area where we are helping to unlock revenues is authority-commissioned car parks, which provide convenient access to town centres and help stimulate local economies.

Along with generating much-needed funds, incorporation of renewable energy systems, such as solar panels, can significantly reduce operating costs. They can also go a lot further. The roof of a Glasgow City Council-owned multi-storey car park, for example, is being transformed into a solar power centre. The energy generated can be used to charge electric vehicles and the surplus potentially sufficient to power flats in three local high rise tower blocks.
