Better Planet reflects Willmott Dixon’s commitment to environmental stewardship, putting consideration for nature, climate and biodiversity at the heart of everything we do as a business.
We understand that our planet has finite resources and that our actions have a significant impact on our climate. With construction a key contributor to upsetting our planet’s delicate balance, we are committed to reduce the amount of carbon we release into our atmosphere, eliminate avoidable waste, halve water consumption and deliver environmental net gain on all projects. The consequences of climate change are extreme, and we must act now to do our bit to save habitats and stop the extinction of many species of plants and animals.
We have signed up to some of the world’s toughest targets to keep global warming below 1.5°C to help create a better planet for future generations.
Here are our Better Planet ambitions to achieve by 2030.
