Assistant Finance Manager

We’re looking for a part time (22.5 hours) Assistant Finance Manager to play a key role in supporting our financial operations. Working 5 days and to be based within our Oldham office (3 days per week) you’ll work closely with the Senior Finance Manager and commercial teams to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance in our financial processes.


What You’ll Do:


As a Finance Assistant, you’ll be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting day-to-day finance activities. Your key responsibilities will include:



  • Importing and reconciling financial data across systems.

  • Performing credit card statement and overhead reconciliations.

  • Processing invoices, checking expense requests, and approving payments.

  • Managing subcontractor payments and liaising with suppliers and third parties.

  • Supporting audits, compliance reviews, and contract documentation.

  • Ensuring high levels of accuracy and quality control in financial reporting.
