The Willmott Dixon Group has announced three Managing Director appointments to lead key parts of its business, reinforcing the company's commitment to developing talent from within and positioning the Group for its next phase of growth.
First, Judy Hegarty (above) has been promoted to Managing Director at Fortem, Willmott Dixon’s specialist property solutions provider for social housing. She will work alongside Chief Operating Officer Chris Tredget as Fortem pursues its ambitious growth strategy.
The promotion comes after Judy became Fortem's Deputy Managing Director at the start of 2025 when the company launched its 'FOR Our Future' growth strategy, and prior to that, was the company's Finance Director, where she led the implementation of commercial processes and IT systems that delivered £7m in efficiency gains.
Also becoming a Managing Director is Simon Ramage (above), who takes on the role at Willmott Dixon’s London & East construction region, having served as Deputy Managing Director since August following Stewart Brundell's promotion to Chief Operating Officer at Willmott Dixon Construction.
Like Stewart, Simon is a former Willmott Dixon trainee and Trainee of the Year winner and has almost 30 years' experience at the company, most recently serving as Director of Delivery in the region before stepping up to Deputy Managing Director.
The third appointment sees Adam Worrall become Managing Director at Willmott Dixon Interiors, following more than 25 years' service with the Group. He will lead the growth of the business with a focus on expanding Interiors’ office fit-out offering, underpinned by a people-led, performance-driven approach that prioritises accountability, collaboration and exceptional delivery for customers.
Graham Dundas, Willmott Dixon's Chief Executive Officer, said:
"These three promotions further demonstrate the genuine opportunities for development within the Group and I am excited to be working with each of them. Judy's promotion is a testament to her leadership and strategic vision. Her deep understanding of social housing operations, combined with her track record of delivering transformational change, makes her the ideal person to lead Fortem through its next phase of growth.
"With Simon now leading our London & East region and Adam at the helm of Interiors, we have exceptional new leaders in place to help drive our ambitious long-term plans. All three appointments come at an exciting time as we see exceptional opportunities across our core markets."
Chris Tredget, Chief Operating Officer at Fortem, said:
"I'm delighted to see Judy step into this role. Her leadership has been pivotal in shaping Fortem's strategic direction and operational excellence. She has the skills, experience and vision to drive our ambitions while maintaining our unwavering focus on social housing, the residents we serve and delivering impactful social value across all our communities where we are active. I look forward to continuing to work alongside her as we deliver on our growth plans for the business."
