Brian Clarke Church of England Academy

We followed on from our completion of Dixons Trinity Academy in Leeds with another scheme through the Department for Education framework; the £19.7m Brian Clarke Church of England Academy in Oldham.

The project which was created for The Cranmer Education Trust included a 1,200 place school situated on an easily accessible, town centre site on Booth Street, benefitting from existing public transport links, providing catchment for young people across a wide geographical area.

Completed in 2023, the building includes an original and unique a stained-glass window, designed and produced by the school’s patron Brian Clarke, the Oldham born and world renowned artist.

As an Oldham based contractor, the delivery of the Brian Clarke Church of England Academy is the latest in a series of local projects we have secured. In March we handed over the £9m Construction Centre at Oldham College five weeks ahead of schedule.
