Sustainability and growth aren't competing priorities at Willmott Dixon; they're the same plan. In 2025 we strengthened our position for long-term, sustainable growth, with a record pipeline and continued preference from repeat customers. That momentum reflects a clear market signal: customers choose partners who can deliver high-performing, low-carbon buildings at scale.
We're building on firm foundations. The progress is clear for all to see in this review of our performance in 2025: absolute carbon emissions down 63% against our 2018 baseline, absolute waste reduced by 51% - well ahead of the 30% target we set ourselves for 2030 - and a place on the CDP A List for the second successive year, putting us among the top 3% of companies worldwide. That track record gives our customers confidence that we can turn design intent into real-world results, and it has accelerated demand for net-zero-in-operation and Passivhaus projects: a pipeline now worth almost £1.5bn.
That proof extends beyond handover. Our Energy Synergy® service actively monitored 16 live projects post-occupancy in 2025, with those buildings averaging 15% better energy performance than predicted, saving customers £460,000 in energy costs in the year alone. It's why Energy Synergy® won two categories at the CIBSE Building Performance Awards, and why performance verification is becoming a core part of how we de-risk outcomes and create lasting value.
As we look ahead, our Now or Never strategy remains our compass: a net-zero business by 2030, net zero operational carbon across our supply chain by 2040, and buildings that are future-climate ready and deliver net-zero in operation from 2030. These ambitions underpin our growth in sectors where performance matters most - education, healthcare, defence and regeneration - and they shape how we work with frameworks and customers to deliver predictable results.
Our focus is disciplined growth with purpose: scaling what we're good at, investing where we add the most value, and helping customers achieve lower energy use, lower emissions, and better buildings. That's how we'll continue to grow responsibly and keep our industry moving towards a net zero future.
