Gold Award is part of the Ministry of Defence’s Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) and is the highest acknowledgement for the support an organisation can demonstrate to the armed forces community.
It recognises our ongoing commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant, and the exceptional efforts of people across our business who support veterans, Reservists, service families and Cadet Force adult volunteers.
Collecting the award were Clare Francis, head of recruitment, and Andrew Stevenson, Regional SHE lead and chair of our Armed Forces Affinity Group. Andrew has been instrumental in mentoring service leavers as they transition into new civilian careers, as part of our long-standing partnership with BuildForce, which connects ex-military personnel with opportunities across the construction industry.
