One Central Square is Best Commercial Building at the RICS 2017 Wales Awards!
At the biggest stage in Wales to recognise the past year’s most important projects, our One Central Square was crowned Commercial Building of the Year – another important accolade to underline our office building track record!
One of Cardiff’s most iconic new buildings, it was delivered in the shadow of another, the Millennium Stadium (above). Judges said:
The area to the north of Cardiff Central railway station, with its sprawling bus depot and tired office buildings was regarded as a blight to the City Centre. One Central Square marks the start of the redevelopment of the area. Looking both across the station to the Bay area beyond, and across the City Centre to the north, this BREAAM excellent building has been exceptionally popular with tenants and is fully let, whilst acting as a catalyst for further development.
