As a member of the Armed Forces, you will have developed a unique range of transferable skills and a can-do attitude and we believe that the construction industry is a great fit when leaving the forces and looking for the next step in your career.
At Willmott Dixon we have a culture where the skills you have developed can continue to thrive, resulting in a second career equally as exciting as the first.
Why a new career in construction?
The construction industry is facing a growing skills gap, for both technical and soft skills. We recognise that as a member of the Armed Forces these skills, such as teamwork, communication, flexibility, problem solving and working under pressure, will have been part and parcel of day to day life in the military.
You may even have technical skills such as project management or construction experience, although this is not essential. Whatever your background, there are a wide variety of roles and opportunities, in a range of locations and workplaces. For more information about the types of roles available click here.

We are delighted to support transition programmes such as the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme.
