University of Gloucestershire Business School and Growth Hub
Flagship business school to support the University’s ambitious vision
A key part of the University’s masterplan, the Business School and Growth Hub is a major step for the university to realise its ambitious vision to develop new facilities for teaching, business services, sports and student accommodation in Gloucester at its Oxstalls campus.
By relocating the Business School from Cheltenham, and joining with the Growth Hub currently on the Oxstalls campus, it will bring business education, research and economic development together into one building. It provides an excellent space to support collaboration and engagement between students, staff and local business.
The new School of Business and Technology features a business incubation centre, Thompson Reuters trading rooms, its own moot courtroom, and equipment on par with that of corporate headquarters the world over – facilities that are available for hire to support existing businesses.
Neal Stephens, managing director of Willmott Dixon said:
‘It has been a pleasure working with the University of Gloucestershire on this landmark project for the university. The new facility will provide excellent learning facilities for students, staff and local businesses.
The whole team including our local supply chain has worked hard to deliver a high quality product for the university and I know they are all very proud of what has been achieved.’
